The Department of Humanities organized a Seminar titled "Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah: The Charismatic Leader" on December 14, 2023, in the Jinnah Auditorium. This seminar was a tribute to the founding father of Pakistan. Vice Chancellor GCWUF Prof Dr. Zill-i-Huma Nazli was the chief guest of the event and Prof. Dr. Farhat Mehmood, former Chairperson of the Department of History, at Government College University, Lahore, graced the occasion as a guest speaker. Dr. Rukhsana Baloch, Coordinator Faculty of Humanities and Languages formally welcomed the guest speaker. Worthy Vice Chancellor, in her address, stressed the audience to act upon Jinnah's maxim of "Work, Work and Work". She said that dedication, determination, and hard work are key to success. She appreciated the poster display of Jinnah by students. The guest speaker shared his personal experience of meeting with the founding father of the nation, Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and Miss Fatima Jinnah. He showed the autograph taken from Quaid-i-Azam and Miss Fatima Jinnah to the department's students. Students of various departments asked questions regarding the life of Jinnah and Miss Jinnah and the guest speaker answered them with his personal experience and insight knowledge. The event ended with a souvenir distribution ceremony and group photo.
