Respected Vice Chancellor GCWUF Prof. Dr. Zill-i-Huma Nazli graced the 33rd All Pakistan Food Conference & AGM as Guest of Honour. The Conference titled "Sustainable Approaches in Food & Nutrition Sector to Foster Pakistan's Economic Growth" was held at the University of Agriculture Faisalabad on December 28, 2023. The National Institute of Food Science & Technology, Faculty of Food, Nutrition and Home Sciences, UAF organized the event. Worthy Vice Chancellor, in her address to the audience, talked about food scarcity and increasing malnutrition in Pakistan. She urged the food technologists to find workable solutions to this alarmingly increasing problem. She called for coordinated efforts to address issues at the national level. The Coordinator Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences Prof. Dr. Aysha Sameen along with Dr. Saima Tehseen and Dr. Rizwana Batool also attended the event and chaired a technical session in the conference.
