Faisalabad, March 10, 2025 – As part of International Women’s Day celebrations, GCWUF organized a solo art exhibition titled '||chr(34)||'Tapestry of Love: Weaving Together Family, Art, and Poetry,'||chr(34)||' featuring the works of Dr. Tooba Najam, Head of the Department of Art and Design. Curated by Ms. Zain Manzoor, the exhibition at the Punjab Council of the Arts, Faisalabad, explored women'||chr(39)||'s emotions, struggles, and familial bonds through diverse artistic expressions.Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Kanwal Ameen (T.I.) inaugurated the event, commending Dr. Tooba’s work and emphasizing art’s role in conveying women’s stories. Dr. Tooba showcased installation art, collage, miniature, oil, and pastel paintings, aiming to depict women'||chr(39)||'s lived experiences. She expressed gratitude to the university for supporting her creative endeavors.ÚDr. Sadaf Naqvi, Incharge of the Women Development & Mentoring Center, noted this was the third major event of the Women’s Day celebrations and reaffirmed GCWUF’s commitment to promoting women’s artistic contributions. The exhibition, attended by Pro Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Zill-i-Huma Nazli, faculty, and students, will remain open on Tuesday for more visitors.This event highlighted GCWUF’s dedication to fostering creativity, intellectual discourse, and women'||chr(39)||'s empowerment through art.
