"No nation can rise to the height of glory unless your women are side by side with you". In light of this massage of father of the nation~ Quaid e Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, the department of Mathematics celebrated Women???s Day on March 8th, 2023. A small event was conducted in BS Block. The chairperson mathematics department Prof. Dr. Saima Akram addressed the students on the importance of the impact that they can create in society being women. Coordinator Arts & Social Sciences Prof. Dr. Ayesha Sameen and Controller of Examination Mrs. Rizwana Tanveer also joined the department in this celebration and shared their words of wisdom. Different posters, banners and charts showcasing slogans and quotes on women were also displayed in the department. In the end, Prof. Dr. Saima Akram along with all the faculty members and students held the cake-cutting ceremony and made this day memorable for all.
