The department of mathematics, GCWUF proudly organized the viva voce examination for its MPhil students under session 2022-2024. The oral defense took place in the months of August-September, 2024, showcasing the academic achievements of the department and its students. A total number of 11 students successfully defended their theses during the period. The students who participated in the viva were, Rida Batool, Fatima-Tul-Zahra, Iram Anwar, Mehreen Farooq, Laiba Khalid, Sana Jamil, Um-E-Aimen, Nimra Babar, Quratul Ain, Attia un Nisa and Usaba Afzal. These students were guided by a distinguished panel of supervisors who played a key role in their academic journey. The supervisors include, Prof. Dr. Saima Akram, Dr. Rani Sumaira Kanwal, Dr. Ifra Noureen, Dr. Asia Rauf, Dr. Madeeha Tahir and Dr. Saba Yasmeen. In addition to the internal panel, a team of esteemed external examiners participated in the viva process, ensuring the high standards of research. The external examiners were, Prof. Dr. Imran Siddique (Department of Mathematics, University of Sargodha), Dr. Abdul Razaaq (Department of Mathematics, University of Education Jauharabad Campus), Dr. Syed Ali Mardan Azmi (Department of Mathematics, University of Management and Technology, Lahore), Prof. Dr. Aslam Malik (Department of Mathematics, University of the Punjab, Lahore), Dr. Ghulam Farid (Assistant Professor Department of Mathematics, University of Agriculture, Faisalabad), Dr. Saima Rashid (Assistant Professor Department of Mathematics, GC University, Faisalabad), Dr. Nazeran Idrees (Associate Professor Department of Mathematics, GC University, Faisalabad). This successful viva voce session is a testament to the hard work and dedication of both the students and their supervisors. The department extends its heartiest congratulations to the students for reaching this significant milestone in their academic careers. The supervisors have been commended for their relentless efforts in guiding the students, and their valuable contributions are deeply appreciated.
