Prof. Dr. Kanwal Ameen (Tamgha-e-Imtiaz) officially assumed charge as the third regular Vice Chancellor of Government College Women University, Faisalabad on 29th October, 2024. Prof. Dr. Kanwal Ameen has a vast experience in academic leadership and a commitment to building an environment that emphasizes academic quality and women's empowerment. All the faculty members of mathematics department under leadership of Prof. Dr. Saima Akram paid visit to Prof. Dr. Kanwal Ameen on 30th October, 2024 and warmly welcomed her to GCWUF. On this occasion, Prof. Dr. Saima Akram expressed her optimism, stating that Prof. Dr. Kanwal Ameen's leadership is expected to bring new growth and excellence to GCWUF. She also highlighted that her guidance will help strengthen the university's mission to deliver quality education and encourage innovation.
