The first day of ICMEFT-2025 opened with a grand inaugural ceremony at GCWUF. Chief Guests included Prof. Dr. Kanwal Ameen (T.I.), Vice Chancellor GCWUF; Prof. Dr. Zafar, Vice Chancellor Medical University Faisalabad; and Prof. Dr. Aman Ullah, Rector of The University of Faisalabad (TUF).
Prof. Dr. Kanwal Ameen emphasized Mathematics??? vital role in the age of AI and Machine Learning and praised Prof. Dr. Saima Akram for her leadership in advancing the Department of Mathematics. Prof. Dr. Zafar highlighted the legacy of Muslim mathematicians, encouraging students to excel in research.
Additionally, Prof. Dr. Aman Ullah appreciated how the conference acts as a bridge, connecting Mathematics with industry and other sciences.
With around 400 participants and three parallel sessions featuring 40 talks, the day was a success. The event supported SDG-4, SDG-5, SDG-8, and SDG-17, fostering collaboration and knowledge exchange.
