The Department of Mathematics, Government College Women University Faisalabad (GCWUF), organized an International Seminar titled ???Driving AI Transformation from Fundamental Mathematics to Industrial Mathematics in the Era of Artificial Intelligence??? on November 19, 2025, at Fatima Block. The keynote address was delivered by Prof. Dr. Norma Alias from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, focusing on AI-driven mathematical innovations and their industrial applications.
During the opening session, Prof. Dr. Saima Akram, Dean Faculty of Computing and Numerical Sciences, emphasized the importance of such international seminars in promoting academic excellence, interdisciplinary research, and alignment with emerging technologies. Dr. Gul Sana, Assistant Professor of Mathematics, served as the focal person of the seminar. The event concluded with an interactive Q&A session and group photograph, leaving a positive academic impact on participants.
