First Meeting of the Mentors Committee for the '||chr(34)||'Women Empowerment and Mentoring Program'||chr(34)||'ÚThe inaugural meeting of the Mentors Committee for the Women Empowerment and Mentoring Program was presided over by the esteemed Vice Chancellor of Government College Women University Faisalabad (GCWUF), Prof. Dr. Kanwal Ameen (T.I.), on 8th January 2025 in the Committee Room.ÚThis program, launched by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan, aims to empower female employees of public sector universities nationwide by fostering leadership skills, career advancement, research growth, and networking opportunities. The National Academy of Higher Education (NAHE) organized a virtual launch on 7th January 2025, engaging GCWUF and other women’s universities for the program'||chr(39)||'s implementation.ÚDuring the meeting, Prof. Dr. Kanwal Ameen emphasized the importance of this transformative initiative and outlined its objectives and expected outcomes. She highlighted how the program seeks to establish mentor-mentee relationships, strengthen professional growth among female academics, and create a supportive community for women in higher education institutions.
