The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Kanwal Ameen, gave a session on '||chr(34)||'Communication for Teachers and Professors'||chr(34)||' under the HEC Faculty Mentorship Program at GCWUFÚThe third mentoring session of the '||chr(39)||'Women Empowerment and Mentoring Program by NAHE (HEC)'||chr(39)||' was held on February 12, 2025, at Jinnah Auditorium, GCWUF. The session, titled '||chr(34)||'Communication for Teachers and Professors,'||chr(34)||' was aimed at enhancing faculty members'||chr(39)||' communication skills.ÚProf. Dr. Kanwal Ameen (T.I.) led the session, explaining the value of all communication skills. She especially focused on written, speaking, and nonverbal communication skills. She also emphasized overall grooming and soft skills. She shared her insights based on her lifelong professional journey, leaving attendees motivated and inspired.ÚHer mentorship was met with enthusiastic engagement from the audience, who actively participated in discussions and shared their own experiences. Faculty members expressed appreciation for her insightful guidance, noting how her practical examples and leadership approach provided valuable takeaways for improving their communication and teaching methods.ÚShe was joined by Dr. Sadaf Naqvi, Incharge Women Development & Mentoring Centre, and Dr. Saira Akhter, Incharge Department of English, who discussed effective communication in academia, and overcoming communication barriers.
