Department of Nutritional Sciences arranged the activity of the students of BS (HND), 5th semester, Section (MB) prepares different food pyramid models like Food Guide Pyramid, Diabetes Food Pyramid, The Vegan Food pyramid, Mediterranean Pyramid, Food guide for Young Children and Healthy Eating plate under the Course Title: Dietetics-I. The food guide pyramid is a recognizable nutrition tool that was introduced by the USDA in 1992. It was shaped like a pyramid to suggest that a person should eat more foods from the bottom of the pyramid and fewer foods and beverages from the the top of the pyramid. The healthy eating pyramid is a visual representation of the proportions of different foods should be eating every day in order to maintain a healthy diet.
