Nutritious food can be expensive, and it can be difficult to eat a balanced diet that includes fruits and vegetables when you are on a tight budget. The good news is, that there are many ways you can save money and still eat whole foods. We gave a challenge to our students to prepare a healthy lunch menu on a nominal budget to explore the 2nd and 3rd SDG. This activity was performed under the Course Title: Meal Planning & Management. The students planned a simple and healthy menu that any person can easily afford. They planned this meal within a low budget of about Rs. 500 to 600. It includes almost all the food groups to provide all the essential nutrients in one meal. We guided our students, that how they can utilize vegetables in a unique way and can make different dishes.
