The Department of Nutritional Sciences successfully conducted the Self-Assessment Report (SAR) review meeting for the BS Human Nutrition and Dietetics degree program (2023???24) under the guidance of the Directorate of Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC) on February 27, 2024. The SAR data was meticulously compiled and submitted to QEC using the Quality Assurance Agency, HEC-prescribed template. The meeting involved a comprehensive review and evaluation session with both Internal Assessment Team members and an External Evaluator, invited for inspection and in-depth discussions. The evaluation team engaged in a detailed question-and-answer session with Dr. Madiha Ilyas, Head of Department, along with the program team member, Ms. Aqsa Farooq. The evaluators thoroughly assessed the submitted documentation and provided valuable feedback, findings, and recommendations for further enhancement of the degree program. These inputs formed the basis of an Implementation Plan compiled by QEC for the academic year 2023???24. The External Evaluator for the SAR assessment was Prof. Dr. Syed Jawwad Hussain, former Head of Department, The University of Faisalabad. The Internal Evaluators included: Dr. Aasma Khalid ??? Convener/Member, Director QEC, GCWUF and Prof. Dr. Saima Akram ??? Member, Coordinator Faculty of Science & Technology, Director Academics, and Chairperson, Department of Chemistry, GCWUF. The Department acknowledged and appreciated the support of QEC and the assessment team for their valuable insights and contributions toward quality assurance and academic excellence.
