The 5th meeting of the Board of Studies for the Department of Nutritional Sciences was conducted on October 24, 2024. The meeting was led by Dr. Madiha Ilyas, Incharge of the Department, and attended by the following members: Dr. Mehnaz Nasir Khan (Head of the Department of Food Science and Human Nutrition, Kinnaird College for Women, Lahore), Dr. Sakhawat Ali (Technical Director of the Islamic Food and Nutrition Council of America and former Director General of PCSIR Laboratories, Lahore), Dr. Hira Munir (Director ORIC), and Dr. Salma (Director Academics). The main agenda of the meeting, presented by Dr. Madiha Ilyas, was the revision of the scheme of studies and the approval of the eligibility criteria of BS (HND) degree program. These changes are set to be implemented starting from Fall 2024. The meeting concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Dr. Madiha Ilyas, HOD, Nutritional Sciences.
