The Department of Nutritional Sciences proudly announces that its exceptional and talented students have achieved a remarkable milestone by securing a cash prize in the Zindigi Prize competition, sponsored by Zindigi JS Bank. This prestigious contest, which focuses on innovative business ideas, took place on 8th March 2024 at Jinnah Auditorium, GCWUF. Students of BS HND, including Ms. Musphra Qasim, Laiba Irfan, Tehreem Iftikhar, and Abeeha Ali, showcased their creativity and entrepreneurial spirit by presenting a groundbreaking idea for an app named Nutri Sync. Their unique and innovative concept awarded them with the first prize in the campus round, along with a cash prize of Rs. 30,000. Furthermore, the team advanced to the Regional Competition, marking another significant step in their journey of success. Dr. Madiha Ilyas, Incharge of the Department of Nutritional Sciences, commended the students for their dedication and ingenuity, praising their ability to bring novel ideas to life. She also expressed her gratitude to the esteemed Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Zill-i-Huma Nazli, for her visionary leadership and for creating opportunities that enable students to discover and showcase their potential.
