The Research Productivity Award-2024 ceremony was hosted by the Office of Research, Innovation & Commercialization (ORIC) on June 3, 2025, at Jinnah Auditorium, Government College Women University Faisalabad (GCWUF). The prestigious event recognized the outstanding research achievements of 96 faculty members across various departments. The ceremony was graced by Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Kanwal Ameen (T.I.), who served as the Chief Guest. In her address, she emphasized the importance of balancing knowledge creation with its dissemination, encouraging faculty members to publish in quality journals, align their research with global challenges, and uphold the highest standards of research ethics along with the responsible use of AI. She also announced upcoming training sessions on effective publishing strategies. During the event, a total award amount of Rs. 1.8 million was distributed among the recipients in recognition of their remarkable research contributions in 2024. Among the awardees, Dr. Madiha Ilyas, Incharge of the Department of Nutritional Sciences, was honored with the Research Productivity Award in recognition of her significant research achievements during the year. The ceremony was attended by university officials, Directors, Chairpersons, and faculty members, who applauded the dedication and hard work of the awardees.
