To undertake the biodiversity and conservational study which is part of the curriculum, one day study tour was arranged to Jallo Botanical Garden Lahore for the students of BS Botany 4th semester, engaged to study biodiversity and conservation under the supervision of Dr. Mehwish Naseer and Miss Arneeb Tariq on 12th March 2022. The specific objectives of the study tour was to provide an experience and a deeper understanding of different categories of plants and animal populations. A huge variety of plants and animals belonging to different groups and environments were present in Jallo Botanical Garden Lahore. Students took great interest in knowing the habitat, ecology and environment of gymnosperms and angiosperms. Different types of unique birds and animals were also kept in cages wildlife area. Students learnt and enjoyed a lot overall it was a great experience for students as well teachers.
